Since the early days of District Vision we have listened carefully to the feedback from our community of woman athletes. We found the opportunity in a toolkit that has the support of shape-wear, the agility and lightness of sportswear, and the durability and technical features of outdoor gear. To complement this we have developed reinforced seams, duplexed panelling and smart pocketing to offer maximum comfort for any athletic pursuit. We work directly with Japanese and Italian mills to source the highest-grade, recycled and Oeko-Tex fibers for all of our garments.

Every collaboration, whether it’s between friends, brands, or athletes, on some level, is about understanding our differences to create something greater than ourselves. It is with this mindset that New Balance and District Vision join forces to celebrate the spirit of the journey. Through District Vision’s mindfulness inspired approach to design and New Balance’s technical application, the resulting collaboration supports the notion that setting out on a physical journey and searching for the path to inner peace may be one in the same.

The District Vision titanium eyewear program comprises two distinct styles, each built on a six base rimless blade proprietary sunglass system crafted from ultra lightweight and durable aerospace grade titanium. The frames feature custom anodized titanium hardware, hypoallergenic rubber nose pads and temple tips for a fully customizable fit, and utilize our signature D+ therapeutic grade lenses, constructed from shatterproof polycarbonate compound. The lens interiors are treated with both anti-reflective and oleophobic coatings for holistic eye protection and water and oil repellency.

Designed in collaboration with and wander®, the Keita Summit Ti elevates our signature eyewear components with a substantial beta titanium brow bar throughout the front of the frame. The frame features low-profile alpine-inspired glare hoods, TR90 nylon lens guards, and a larger adjustable hypoallergenic nose pad to fit a wider array of facial structures. Equipped with proprietary D+ polarized, and shatterproof lenses with oleophobic and anti-reflective treatments.

Designed in close collaboration with LA’s renowned Golden Saddle Cyclery, the Linto Rider is inspired by heritage cycling sunglasses. The frame features injected nylon construction with titanium armature and hardware, and a custom Golden Saddle Cyclery titanium badge that serves as an homage to the unique craft of bicycle headtube badges.

The Junya Racer is a six base frame that wraps close to the head for the highest level of visual clarity and protection at speed. Fitted with a hand sculpted lens and custom shaped temples for running and cycling.

Koharu Eclipse is a six base frame construction defining a new approach to unisex sports eyewear. The ergonomic form is engineered to aid ventilation and enhance the field of vision. The 125mm temples are architected for helmet use.

The Takeyoshi Altitude Master is an 8 base frame construction designed for rigorous outdoor pursuits. The ergonomic form is engineered to aid ventilation and enhance the field of vision whilst protecting the eyes. Temples are architected for helmet use.

Inspired by the 1960's and 1970's alpine style movement in mountaineering, the Kazu Tourer is the result of a collaboration between Tracksmith and District Vision.

The Nagata Speed Blade is a six base frame with a classic aviator shape designed to protect the eyes and enhance the field of vision. The frame is constructed from TR90 injected nylon with beta titanium armature and hardware, and features our signature D+ therapeutic grade lenses, constructed from a proprietary form of shatterproof polycarbonate. The lens interiors are treated with both anti-reflective and oleophobic coatings for holistic eye protection and water and oil repellency. A fully adjustable and hypoallergenic rubber nose pad and temple tips provide a secure and customizable fit.

The Keiichi performance eyewear system was developed over a two year technical testing period, involving New York City athletes and Japanese engineering. The frame features D+ lens technology, rubber/titanium nose pad and temple tips.

Nako Multisport was tested on hundreds of athletes to determine a truly universal fit for larger head shapes. The rounded top extends the wearer’s upper field of view with a lens height of 46mm. Ideal for a variety of physical disciplines.

The adjustable eyewear strap is designed and engineered to perfectly fit all District Vision sports sunglasses. The strap secures the frame to the face for the most aggressive performance conditions.

Constructed from durable woven Cordura fabric with a technical zipper, the District Vision x Suunto eyewear pouch is an extremely lightweight, durable, and breathable vessel for shuttling eyewear and other gear to and from track workouts and trail runs, allowing garments, and meditation tools a chance to breathe when in transit. Knitted in Kyoto (Japan), the 540g mesh is weaved using a traditional Japanese knitting technique that slows the machine down to create a highly abrasion resistant mesh.

Designed around a subtle cropped V-neck silhouette, the long line bra features increased coverage, recycled four-way stretch construction and thoughtfully placed overlock seams for maximum comfort, support, and unrestricted movement. Twin-layer fabric aids in moisture management, decreasing friction, and accelerating drying times.

Engineered for comfort, coverage and medium support with a high degree of mobility, the Twin Layer Medium Support Bra is constructed from a quick-drying and moisture-wicking recycled four-way stretch twin-layer fabric. Designed to minimize friction and bounce while moving with the wearer, the Citta features a classic racerback silhouette.

Constructed from a soft and supple 135g French-milled stretch fabric, our lightweight baselayer program is designed for maximum comfort and performance in all athletic pursuits, offering odor and moisture management with durable overlock construction for a dependable and barely-there feel.

Our Tencel® outdoor performance shirt is made from recycled wood pulp. The treatment process requires less water than cotton and is a more breathable and durable fabric quality.

Our high pile fleece now comes in two options: a heavy 850g wool blend fleece and a 318g Italian-milled high-pile fleece featuring a sweat-wicking power mesh liner, branded elastic finishings, and straightforward construction that works well in any technical layering system.

The hiking jacket is constructed from a blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester, and is treated with a non-PFC Durable Water Repellent finish for increased water resistance in inclement weather. The jacket features custom sewn patch logos, hand pockets, and a debossed badge on the left shoulder.

The cropped wind jacket is constructed from our signature Italian-milled recycled, windproof and highly water-resistant single-layer shell fabric. It features a classic cropped fit with sculpted, roomy sleeves for ease of movement. Elasticated cuffs, bonded seams and dual cinch cords at the waist provide a custom fit, and a secure zippered chest pocket keeps valuables safe. The jacket is treated with a non-PFC Durable Water Resistant finish for increased water resistance in inclement weather.

Constructed from an ultralight two-way stretch shell and four-way stretch liner, the 3" split short is our all-around running short. The custom-built liner provides friction-free support and moisture-wicking breathability, while deep side splits work to increase airflow and ease of motion.

Patterned to shape and support, our half tights are constructed from our signature quick-drying, lightweight and durable Italian-milled four-way stretch fabric. Small essentials can be stowed in a rear hidden zip pocket, while phones and extra layers can be carried in a larger pass-thru pocket designed to secure items against the lower back with minimal bounce.

The zip cargo pant is constructed from a blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester, and is treated with a non-PFC Durable Water Repellent finish for increased water resistance in inclement weather. Four extremely deep zippered pockets flank the front and rear of the pants, with internal mesh dividers and a grosgrain loop for additional storage. The pants feature technical heavy duty zippers and adjustable cinch cords at the ankles for a customizable fit.

The lightweight balaclava is constructed from a 100% recycled, warm and breathable 220gsm hard-face Italian grid fleece offering protection of the face from wind and cold weather. The balaclava can be used in four configurations: hood up, over the nose, under the chin, or as a neck gaiter, and features reinforced insertion points for eyewear temples.

The Performance Paneled Mesh Hat is constructed from featherweight honeycomb mesh and sports a 3-inch brim, providing ample shade in sunny conditions. An internal brow band adds structure and wicks moisture, and a lightweight shock cord loop is paired with a quick-release sports clasp to provide quick adjustability.

The performance crew socks are woven with durable Cordura® yarns and feature indexed, anatomical construction and targeted arch compression bands to prolong foot comfort and reduce fatigue during running, hiking, and other high-output activities.

The Washi Tabi sock is constructed from a unique blend of slit-cut Japanese paper yarns – also known as washi ito. Washi yarn draws on Japan's rich heritage in working with paper and is lightweight, quick-drying, and naturally absorbs and retains moisture from the air, giving it a soft and dry feel to the touch.

Published in collaboration with the Sri Chinmoy Centre, this book contains a trove of archival photographs, writings, and running journal entries by the Indian spiritual leader Sri Chinmoy, whose work at the intersection of meditation and athletics has long been a source of inspiration for District Vision.

The Pilvi yoga block was developed to complement mindful movement practices. Solidly constructed from marine-grade maple plywood by our friends in Paradise, California, the Pilvi features superbly clean edges, a laser-engraved logo, and can double as a bookend or plinth.
